Who are we
?
Born abroad and having lived in many different countries and environments, we have chosen to settle in the Aix region. We learned that if many artists have succumbed to the region’s charm, it’s because it offers absolutely magnificent landscapes that are just as conducive to walks, relaxation and inspiration…
We’ll be delighted to share the sunshine and the song of the cicadas with you, the best addresses for traditional Provençal markets, the GPS coordinates of pretty lavender fields and the little roads nestling in large olive groves that will take you to the producers of Rosé, olive oil, honey and Provençal soaps…
FUVOLEA is the name we have chosen to reflect Fuveau (the name of the commune where we live) and the olive tree, the emblematic tree of Provence, known as 'Olea europaea' (a species of tree and shrub of which one variety has been domesticated and cultivated to become the olive tree).
More about the family
Johan is Dutch, from the north of the Netherlands. An avid mountain biker, road and gravel cyclist he enjoys exploring the region’s unique landscapes and will be delighted to share his greatest discoveries with you.
Christelle is French. She has lived in a number of different countries and has found Provence to be a welcoming place with a great atmosphere.
Little Eva is passionate about singing. Her dream is naturally to become a singer, but her love of animals could well lead her to another calling.
The whole family speaks fluent French and English. Johan speaks Dutch. Christelle will be happy to assist you in Italian, although it might be a bit rusty.
The last two members of the family are Imke, our Australian shepherd about whom all the children are crazy, and Sweetie, a large, timid tomcat with the looks of a wild cat.

We had an excellent family holiday. The accommodation is well-equipped, well-designed and clean. The outdoor space, especially the pool and surrounding area, is very pleasant. Christelle and her family are friendly and considerate. The kids just want to come back, which we'll be happy to do!
A visit to Christelle's home is like being among friends! The house has been recently redone and is super clean and well furnished, with a full kitchen. The washing machine was super convenient! The beds are very comfortable. The reception we got was super friendly. We had a really good, relaxing time! Thanks for everything!

We rented the little house opposite the Swimming pool in early April for a few days. I can only recommend this accommodation which is very well equipped, very functional and above all very clean! The bedding is excellent! The garden is beautiful and the hosts are really charming and attentive! Don't hesitate!
Visiting Provence for a few days, enjoy the magnificent scenery and beautiful mountain bike rides. Recently renovated and equipped with all comforts, excellent sleeping comfort, the residence is well located in a quiet environment with a pretty garden and swimming pool, just a stone's throw from Aix-en-Provence. Within walking distance there's also a good restaurant offering good value for money.
Superbe location. Lovely property with two separated houses in complete privacy from each other. Large, landscaped garden with some splendid olive trees. We rented the small house in front of the large pool. The accommodation was super clean and functional. The bedding is of really good quality, we slept well, and it was calm. The pool was heated at 26C, so we made the most of it. The owners are discreet, we didn’t see them much, but they were willing to discuss, especially when we needed ideas for visits and a restaurant for the 2nd evening. The only downside was that we would have liked a charging point for the car, but the owner told us it is planned for next year. We’ll be back with pleasure.
